February's Kindness Calendar
It's 1st February and while the Chinese are welcoming the God of Wealth with fireworks today, I am pleased to mark the beginning of the most romantic month. That's why the new issue of the e-zine INSPIRATIONAL ENGLISH will explore some aspects of LOVE. It will be out next week... so you don't have to wait too long. You can find more details about the e-zine here.
In addition, on 17th February we celebrate the "Random Acts of Kindness" Day. Mark Twain said:
“Kindness is a language
which the deaf can hear and
the blind can see.”
So you have plenty of time to prepare some materials to mark that day. Why don't you organise a KINDNESS week in your school? Watch out this space and my FREE PRINTABLES page because I will be posting a FREE Lesson plan that your students will love.
Those of you who follow my posts regularly have heard about Helen Green , a lovely lady from Manchester, who creates Kindness Calendars every month. Helen is famous for spreading kindness in her community in various ways- by giving away flowers, leaving nice messages in car parks, to name but a few. Here's her February's Kindness Calendar.
You can download your own FREE copy of the Kindness Calendar from here.
Continue the KINDNESS ripple effect and share this calendar with your colleagues and friends.
